LETA’s Board of Directors Change in
Training
November 21, 2016
The Law Enforcement Thermographer's Association (LETA)
Board of Directors recently met to discuss a wide range of
business and training issues regarding thermal imaging
seminars. The Board has decided that going forward, LETA will
discontinue recertification seminars and focus strictly on basic
certification classes to meet the demands of our members
and law enforcement agencies across the US and Canada.
Proficient use in thermal imaging is a perishable skill and one that
should be used on a regular basis to assure the operator has a
solid basis of
experience on which to base their findings and court testimony.
LETA highly recommends that law enforcement officers who have
been previously certified but not active in conducting thermal
imaging missions for two years or more should attend a basic
certification class as a refresher to assure they are updated on all
pertinent laws, technology changes, methods, applications and
documentation.
As always, please consider LETA your partner and resource in
thermography training. For over 20 years, LETA has trained
thousands of
law enforcement officers across North America and prides itself
on our alumni that use this technology daily in pursuit of justice.
